National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) had the honour of hosting the screening of the world’s first-ever 8K film shot in space: “Gazing Back from the Cosmos-Outside the Window is the Blue Planet,” produced by the China Media Group (CMG) aboard the Chinese Space Station, featuring the voice of astronaut Wang Yaping.
This captivating showcase, organized by NUST Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS) in collaboration with the Department of Mass Communication, School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H), brought the wonders of science, technology, and cinematic innovation to life.
