Dr Ashfaque Hasan Khan’s Lecture on “Regional Economic Cooperation”

Dr. Ashfaque Hasan Khan, Director General, NUST Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS), was invited by the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, ADA (Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy) University, Baku, to deliver a lecture on “Regional Economic Cooperation” on August 14, 2025. The session was attended by students and faculty members, providing an engaging platform for academic discussion on regional economic opportunities.
During his visit, Dr. Ashfaque also held a meeting with the Rector of Baku State University, Azerbaijan’s largest and most prominent academic institution. The meeting was accompanied by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan. He also held a luncheon meeting with Dr. Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Centre of Analysis of International Relations (AIR), Baku, Azerbaijan— a distinguished Azerbaijani diplomat and scholar with close institutional ties to the national leadership.
