Kashmir Solidarity Day

NUST Institute of Policy Studies observed the Kashmir Solidarity Day with fervour and resolve. The occasion was organized to sensitize the community of students and scholars to the terrible plight of Kashmiri Muslims under the heel of the Indian state tyranny and terrorism in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. It acknowledged and paid tribute to the countless sacrifices of Kashmiris, and their unbending resistance to India’s unending reign of terror against them. The participants of the event condemned the grave human rights violations of the people of Kashmir by the Indian state and government. They reiterated that Pakistan would continue to stand by their Kashmiri brethren in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just and moral struggle for the right to self-determination, in line with the United Nations Security Council Resolutions. The attendees were unanimous in their belief that the destiny of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was freedom from Indian occupation and oppression.
